Ghost Robes isn't a large business, it's just myself. When I am not at work, with my young kids, with my wife, or swimming, I am working on Ghost Robes.

I have been outdoor swimming for 4 years and it has improved my life. I love the inclusive supportive community and the personal challenge, I also love the shivers after winter swims!

Having children has changed me, I have always cared about the environment around me, but now I want to actively make things better for future generations.

I used to see problems in the world but didn't realise I could be part of the solution. Ghost Robes is my solution, it's an outdoor swimming brand with a huge focus on ethics and sustainability. It's my way of demonstrating to bigger companies that dreams can be followed without compromising our core beliefs.

I will always manufacture in the U.K. We have skilled seamstresses, knitters, and weavers, without our custom they won't stay in business. Keeping the manufacturing process within the U.K. makes quality control easier, and it reduces the carbon footprint associated with shipping fabrics and garments half way around the world.
Manufacturing in the U.K. is more expensive than manufacturing abroad, a big reason for this is the labour costs, I believe that everyone at every stage of the supply chain deserves to be paid a fair wage for their time and skills, this is a cost I am willing to pay.

I aim to have as little impact on the environment as possible, utilising natural materials, recycled materials, and recyclable materials.

Thank you.
